Hidden in the French countryside lies Château du Fresne — a place that has become our shared dream since 2022. A home for artists, friends and curious souls to gather, co-create and celebrate life.
This summer, we open the gates wide for the very first edition of Voyage Château Festival: a four-day tribute to art, freedom, nature and community.
Here, you're not just a visitor. You're part of something living and breathing — a co-creative playground where everyone contributes in their own way. Share your gift, build a world, or simply arrive with an open heart.
Voyage Château Festival has no commercial motives. It's built with love by a non-profit team of artists, makers and dreamers. Any proceeds flow directly back into future editions.
What to expect

Slow community mornings with activities and a daily family-style brunch

TRAVEL
The nearest train station is Laval, with direct connections from Paris Montparnasse (approx. 1h15 by TGV). From Laval, you can reach the château by taxi or shared ride (approx. 30 minutes).
To make things easier and more sustainable, we’ll open a WhatsApp group for guests who want to carpool or share a ride — whether you're coming from Paris, Amsterdam or just around the corner.

What does my day pass include?
Your ticket grants access to all festival activities on the days you've purchased, including music performances, art installations, workshops and communal spaces. Food, drinks and accommodation are not included.
Can I cancel or transfer my ticket?
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds. Tickets can be sold to another person or via Ticketswap.
Are day tickets available?
Yes, a limited number of day tickets are available for Thursday. Friday and Saturday, providing access to the festival grounds.
Can I purchase a ticket at the entrance?
If the festival is not sold out, tickets may be available at the entrance. However, we recommend purchasing in advance to secure your spot.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes, the festival is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Attendees under 18 will not be admitted.
Accommodation & Camping
What accommodation options are available?
We offer various options to suit different budgets and comfort levels:
Bring your own tent for 1-2 persons and max 3x3 meters wide.
Camper spots: park your camper in a designated area.
Basic glamping: pre-set tents with air beds, bed linen, and pillows for 2 or 4 persons.
Comfort glamping: pre-set tents with real beds, bed linen, pillows, lighting and furniture for 2 or 4 persons.
Are there sanitary facilities on-site?
Yes, we provide shared, clean toilets and showers for all camping guests.
Can I bring my camper?
Yes, we have limited spots available for campers. Please ensure you reserve in advance. Maximum length is 7,5 meter.
Food, Drinks & Payments
Are food and drinks included in my ticket?
No, food and drinks are not included. However, we offer a variety of delicious options on-site.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
We kindly ask you not to bring your own. A significant portion of our budget relies on on-site food and beverage sales, and supporting our local vendors helps make the festival possible.
How can I pay at the festival?
We operate a cashless system for sustainability and convenience. All food, drinks, and services can be paid for with your debit or credit card.
Travel & Accessibility
How do I get to the festival?
Château du Fresne is located in Mayenne, France. The nearest train station is Laval. We recommend carpooling where possible. Detailed travel information will be shared after booking.
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes, parking is available 5-10 mins walking distance from the festival. We encourage carpooling to minimize the number of vehicles.
Is the festival accessible for people with limited mobility?
The château is an old estate with uneven terrain and natural surroundings. We will do our best to accommodate accessibility needs. Please contact us in advance to discuss your specific requirements.
Festival Experience
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing for warm days and cool nights, swimwear, a reusable water bottle, flashlight or headlamp, power bank, and something festive to wear!
Can I attend alone?
Absolutely. Many guests come solo and leave with new friends. We're creating an open, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
What happens if it rains?
The festival proceeds rain or shine. Please bring appropriate clothing and footwear for varying weather conditions.
Are there lockers or a cloakroom available?
We offer various lockers to store your valuable items.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes, found items will be collected at the information desk. If you lose or find something, please visit the desk for assistance.

Festival disclaimer
By attending this festival, you acknowledge that you are fully responsible for your own actions and any consequences thereof. The organization cannot be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from personal conduct, negligence, or misconduct.
Participation is entirely at your own risk. You are required to have valid health insurance, liability insurance, and travel insurance. The organization accepts no responsibility for medical expenses, loss or damage to personal belongings, or any other incidents occurring during or as a result of the festival.
By entering the festival grounds, you automatically agree to these terms.
